The Voting Terminal is the point of access where Members of an Assembly Hall cast their votes.
Each work station of the Assembly is equipped with a multifunction terminal enabling each Member to:
- Confirm their identities via the Voting Badge and for further confirmation via the biometric sensor - Finger Print;
- State their presence by inserting their identity badges and pressing one of the voting buttons during the presence control phase;
- Follow the voting steps, check the vote cast and interact with the system thanks to the full display of all the information on a colour touch screen of ample dimensions;
- Express their own opinions on the voting keyboard inside a special confidential housing that surrounds and guides their hand, hiding the movement of their fingers to ensure absolute confidentiality and ease in use;
- Vote the lists for electing offices via the ample touch screen display;
- Express their single votes by roll call;
- Check the vote cast when the star lights up on the full colour high efficiency LED located on the top of the terminal;
- Request or cancel Speaking Time in the Speakers Agenda thanks to direct connection to request for speaking and managing speaking time;
- Take part in the debate via a microphone located on the terminal and the Public Address System connected to it, complete with all the functionalities ranging from the conference system up to the Simultaneous Translation System;
- Listen via head-sets or record debates thanks to the audio (mini-jack) output located on the terminal.
