On the occasion of its 30th anniversary the Eurel Informatica S.p.a. relates its long experience in the electronic voting field through the voices of its protagonists: Enzo Costa the CEO, Francesco Costa, the managing director, and Sandro Costa, the technologic innovation manager..
The history of Eurel is closely related to one of the major companies in Italian history: the Olivetti. During the eighties, in fact, the President Enzo Costa worked for the legendary enterprise Company at Ivrea as a team leader in the Special Projects sector. He was entrusted with creating the Electronic Voting System for the Strasbourg European Parliament.
The idea of founding the Eurel Informatica S.p.a., originated from this momentous experience. It is today the leading company in Europe for creating and delivering electronic voting systems and solutions involving informatics for automating activities in smaller-sized Assemblies such as Town Councils, Provinces and Regions as well as the European Parliament, the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Italian Republic.
